ELIGIBILITY: The Molson Canadian Summer Adventure 2012 Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal U.S. residents who are 21 years of age or older, excluding residents of California. HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes begins at or about 12:00:00 pm CT on 7/1/12 and ends at 11:59:59 pm CT on 8/31/12 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). To enter in the Sweepstakes, look for an Official Keyword on promotional materials at participating locations. There are two ways to enter during the Sweepstakes Period: 1) by using an SMS-enabled device to text the Official Keyword to 90464 ("Text Message Entry"), or 2) by entering the Official Keyword at www.molsoncanadian.com/summer (“Website”) and following the directions to complete and submit the online entry form (“Internet Entry”). Official Keywords for each of the national prizes are listed in Section 5 below. Text Message Entries and Internet Entries are collectively referred to as “Sweepstakes Entries.”
For Text Message Entries: You will receive a reply text message asking you to indicate the 5-digit ZIP code of your place of residence and your date of birth (XXXXX MMDDYYYY). After you reply to the text message with an eligible ZIP code and date of birth, you will be sent a reply text message confirming entry. If you do not reply with an eligible date of birth or ZIP code, you will not receive an entry. Message and data rates may apply to each message sent and received. Other charges may apply; check your mobile plan for rates/details. Participation may not be possible on all carriers. For help, text HELP to short code 90464. To cease receiving messages regarding the Sweepstakes, send the word STOP to short code 90464. You will receive a confirmation message. You will not receive future text messages regarding the Sweepstakes except for notification if you are selected as a potential winner. Please note that proof of text message submission does not constitute proof of delivery/receipt.
For Internet Entries: Internet access and a valid email address are required for Internet Entry.
Limit one (1) Sweepstakes Entry per person, phone number and/or email address per day. If more than one (1) Sweepstakes Entry is received from the same person, phone number or email address in a single day for any Official Keyword, only the first entry received will be considered valid. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, a “day” is the 24 hour period between 12:00:00 am CT and 11:59:59 pm CT, except on 7/1/12 on which a “day” will be the period between 12:00:00 pm CT and 11:59:59 pm CT. Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes. For Internet Entries, entrants must fully complete and submit all required data on the online entry form to be eligible; incomplete entries are null and void. All materials submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified; any use of automated methods of entry may result in disqualification.
NATIONAL WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be selected in a series of random drawings conducted from among all eligible entries received for each National Official Keyword on or about 9/5/12 by Ignition Network, an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received for each National Official Keyword. All prizes will be awarded assuming sufficient eligible entries are received and prizes are properly claimed. Potential winners will be notified by phone, mail, email and/or overnight delivery.

WINNER VERIFICATION: Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Potential Grand Prize winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (except where prohibited) within five (5) days of attempted notification or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Failure to provide all required information and a signature on the documents will result in forfeiture of winner’s right to claim a prize and may be awarded to an alternate winner, if time permits. Potential Grand Prize winner may be subject to a background check before the prize will be awarded; if a potential winner has been convicted of a felony or any other crime that would reflect negatively on the Sponsor, the potential winner may be disqualified and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Trip includes: Roundtrip coach class air transportation from a major commercial airport near winner’s residence to US host city of the 2013 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® for winner and one (1) adult guest, hotel accommodations for three (3) days and two (2) nights, roundtrip ground transportation to and from the airport and hotel, two (2) tickets to the 2013 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic®, $500 pre-paid card and a check payable to the winner in the amount of $1,454. Winner must travel on dates specified, December 2012 to January 2013. (“ARV”): $5,184.
Fishing Trip. Trip includes: Roundtrip coach class air transportation from a major commercial airport near winner’s residence to Campbell River, British Columbia for winner and one (1) adult guest, hotel accommodations for three (3) days and two (2) nights, guided salmon fishing tour, roundtrip ground transportation to and from the airport and hotel, $500 pre-paid card and a check payable to the winner in the amount of $1,950. Winner must be available for travel between May and September 2013. (“ARV”): $6,950.
Mountain Biking Trip. Trip includes: Roundtrip coach class air transportation from a major commercial airport near winner’s residence to Montreal, Quebec for winner and one (1) adult guest, hotel accommodations for four (4) days and three (3) nights, roundtrip ground transportation to and from the airport and hotel, guided bike tour, one (1) dinner for two (2), $500 pre-paid card and a check payable to the winner in the amount of $1,883. Winner must be available for travel between May and September 2013. (“ARV”): $6,713.
Sailing Trip. Trip includes: Roundtrip coach class air transportation from a major commercial airport near winner’s residence to Victoria, British Columbia for winner and one (1) adult guest, hotel accommodations for four (4) days and three (3) nights, roundtrip ground transportation to and from the airport and hotel, Interactive Sailing Experience, one (1) dinner for two (2), $500 pre-paid card and a check payable to the winner in the amount of $1,840. Winner must be available for travel between May and September 2013. (“ARV”): $6,560.
Total ARV of all national prizes: $32,635
Winner’s guest must be 21 years of age or older. Trip must be taken on the dates specified by Sponsor. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary. The actual value of the trip may vary depending on point of departure and fluctuations in the cost of air transportation. Any difference between the estimated ARV and the actual value of the prize will not be awarded. If winner resides within a 100-mile radius of destination, ground transportation may be provided in lieu of air transportation, and no compensation will be provided for any difference in prize value. Travel dates are subject to availability; blackout dates and other restrictions may apply. Winner and guest are responsible for having valid travel documents including government identification and/or passports. Winner is responsible for all travel expenses not included herein, including airline baggage fees, gratuities, meals, transportation and any other incidental costs or expenses related to participation in this prize. Travel must be booked at least 30 days in advance. Guest of winner must sign and return a travel liability release before travel will be booked. Sponsor is not responsible if any portion of a prize is delayed, postponed, or canceled for any reason. Winner will not receive compensation from Sponsor for tickets that the winner is unable to use due to cancellation of the event, but tickets may be subject to standard rain-check policies and procedures set by the issuer. Winner agrees that admission for each prize element is awarded pursuant to a revocable, nontransferable license that is personal to that applicable winner, and may not be sold, resold, auctioned, bartered, assigned, exchanged, placed in commerce, transferred, given away, donated or otherwise conveyed. Sponsor reserves the right to remove or to deny entry for each prize element to Winner and/or his/her guests if either winner or his/her guests violates the previous restrictions or engages in a disruptive manner, or with intent to abuse, threaten or harass any other person at a particular prize element.
PRIZE TERMS: Prizes are not transferable and include only the items specifically listed as part of each prize. No substitution or cash equivalent of prize is permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If a prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Any portion of prize not accepted by winner will be forfeited. Federal, state, and local taxes on prize and any expenses relating to the acceptance of and use of prize not specified herein are the responsibility of winner. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC for each winner whose prize is valued at $600 or more. Approximate retail values are as of the time the rules were printed and the value of a prize may fluctuate. A winner is not entitled to any difference between the ARV and the actual value of the prize at the time the prize is awarded.
ADDITIONAL TERMS: Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by entrant or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries. Sponsor is also not responsible for any technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone service, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may affect the ability of consumers to participate, or for any damage to any participant’s computer system/software related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes. All Internet Entries must include a valid email address. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of entrants. Participants may not register with multiple email addresses nor may entrants use any other device or artifice to register multiple times. Any participant who attempts to enter with multiple email addresses under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to register/enter multiple times will be disqualified at Sponsor's sole discretion. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a winning entrant, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address or phone number submitted at the time of entry (i.e., the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address or the natural person who is assigned to a phone number by a phone service provider). Potential winners may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address or phone number associated with the winning entry. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules. You may only be a legal resident of one state at a time for purposes of entering all Sweepstakes sponsored by MillerCoors LLC. Liability for printing or other errors or Official Keywords that are rendered invalid due to any type of malfunction, technological or otherwise, is limited to replacement with an Official Keyword, time permitting. If, for any reason, more prize notifications are sent (or more claims are received) than the number of prizes offered, as set forth in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right to award the intended number of prizes through a random drawing from among all eligible prize claims received. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Sweepstakes or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is severely undermined by any event beyond the control of Sponsor, including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, infection by computer virus, unauthorized intervention, technical failures or other cause not reasonably within the control of Sponsor (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes without any further obligation. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor will award the prizes in a random drawing from among all valid and eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation, providing a sufficient number of entries are received.
